Privacy at Hollon
Last updated October 31, 2026
Google sign-in
When you sign in with Google, Hollon requests your Google account identifier, email address and profile name to identify you, create your account and maintain your session. Hollon does not request access to your Google Drive or Gmail. Google handles the sign-in; Hollon does not receive your Google password.
Email sign-in
You can also sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address through Cloudflare. Codes expire after ten minutes and cannot be reused. Hollon stores a hash of the code and temporarily keeps your email and a hash of your IP address to limit abuse. Sign-in challenge records are removed after one day when the next code is requested. A verified email can access the existing account registered with that email.
Camera information
Hollon is designed to use trail camera photographs, camera names, timestamps, classifications and related weather information to provide your dashboard. If you invite another person, they can access the collection and permissions you grant them. Please avoid uploading photographs you do not have permission to share.
Reveal connections and processing
If you connect Reveal, Hollon retains your encrypted Reveal credentials to check for new photos hourly. The importer uses these details only to access your connected cameras. Disconnecting removes the retained credentials and stops future imports; photos already imported remain in your database. Do not connect an account you are not authorized to use. Photos may be processed by automated species and buck/doe classifiers; uncertain results remain available for manual review.
Property location and storage
Your database location and time zone support local weather and activity estimates. Private images, tags, and connection records are restricted to your account and people you invite. Demo information is synthetic and separate from your camera data. Imported photos remain until deleted or until you request account deletion. Credentials and private photographs are not included in application logs.
Voluntary friends-and-family research
Owners may separately enroll selected collections in our field study. Enrollment is optional and requires explicit acceptance of a versioned research agreement. Participants contribute existing and future imported photos, capture times, camera names and identifiers, location coordinates, time zones, tags and corrections, available operational data, and forecast outcomes for model and service development, training and evaluation, including commercial use. Photos may contain people and vehicles; source data is not anonymous. Account passwords, sign-in secrets, and payment information are excluded. Participants retain ownership and grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free research license. Contributed data and consent records may be retained indefinitely, restricted to authorized personnel and processors. Stopping future contributions does not automatically delete prior research copies or reverse trained models; applicable privacy rights and deletion requests still apply. Plus grants already earned remain valid for their recorded term. Invitations do not share private collections. Contact [email protected] about privacy or deletion requests.
Free release
Processing is free during the initial release. No payment is required.
Service providers
Hollon uses Cloudflare to host the service and store application data. Google provides sign-in. If payment features are enabled, Stripe processes payment information. These providers process information as needed to provide their services.
